In the second quarter of 2024, the virtual fitness landscape on the iOS platform in Australia has shown varied performance among the leading apps. Sensor Tower's data offers us a glimpse into how these apps have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike maintained a consistent user base, with weekly active users hovering around the 185K mark at the start of April and peaking at 188K by the end of June. Downloads showed a slight downtrend from 12K to 7.7K, while revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $91K in early May.

Runna: Running Training Plans saw its revenue increase from $41K to $50K in mid-June, before dipping to $47K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads decreased from 2.8K to 2.2K, and weekly active users experienced a rise from 10.8K to a peak of 12.1K in early June.

Kic: Health, Fitness & Recipes experienced a revenue uptick from $28K to $49K, with the highest revenue reported in the last week of June. Downloads ranged from 729 to 1.1K, and active users showed a slight increase from 3.4K to 3.6K.

AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run demonstrated a steady revenue growth from $33K to $32K, with downloads varying from 7.3K to 6.1K. The app's weekly active users showed a positive trend, starting at 19.3K and increasing to 25.8K in mid-June before slightly decreasing to 24.2K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Fitbit: Health & Fitness displayed a notable spike in revenue at the end of June, reaching $58K, up from $28K at the start of the quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable around the 2K mark, whereas weekly active users saw a decline from 60K to 54.7K.
